Kimberly officially joined Pause. Breathe. Reflect. shortly before I did. In reality, I think her spirit joined it before the group was formed. She's a longtime practitioner of meditation and mindfulness, as well as being a yoga teacher, massage therapist, personal trainer and manages a personal training studio. Phew! How does she have time to be anything else?
In speaking with her today, I learned that it's part of her core being to ripple some love and and kindness in the world every day. Without fail, she does.
One of her tangible ripples is her painted rock garden where she offers painted rocks with sayings, painted characters, and hearts for anyone who wants to take one. She had not kept count of the number of rocks she's painted. No wonder. A quick review of what she's done and she realized that she has given away more than 1,000 rocks. That's a lot of kindness and comfort she has shared.
Ask her about her post-it notes of kindness. She's been distributing them for 12 years!
We conversed over a list of questions. Her answers will appear here after tomorrow. One thing is for certain. She not only contributes tangible goods to her neighbors, she delivers much more - helping to form her physical neighborhood into a real community. She's an energy source for kindness and love.
When asked for suggestions for people who'd like to start intentionally spreading some goodness, kindness and love in the world, she answered, "Look people in the eye and say a kind thing. Say one kind thing. They light up."
She also replied to a question about what motivates her, what her tools and practices are,
"Walk outside without a phone. Notice five new things a day."
She's been meditating for 12 years, does yoga, swims (in cold water), and is an active member of Pause. Breathe. Reflect. for both the meditations as well as the strong community of like-hearted people. She says she's made friends for life there. "They get me."
She is also inspired by the Miracle Morning rooms on Clubhouse and listens to them in some way every day.
This is Kimberly. She's not only a rock star; she's the Queen of Yoga Nidra with Pause. Breathe. Reflect. on average one night per week. Look for the Pause Breathe Reflect Club on Clubhouse. Then join her room -- and any of the other wonderful rooms. It will be well worth your time and breath.
